Modern browsers generally require a secure HTTPS context before giving websites access to the camera or microphone.

Test the webcam

Open the webcam test, choose Start Webcam and allow camera permission. Inspect image quality, focus, orientation and the detected resolution.

Test the microphone

Open the microphone test and speak at a normal volume. The level meter should react to your voice.

If permission was denied

Use your browser's site permissions to allow the camera or microphone, then reload the page. Also check hardware privacy switches and operating-system privacy settings.
